Тип урока: урок обобщения и систематизации знаний

Педагогические технологии: технология проблемного обучения, ИКТ-

Цели урока:

Образовательная: способствование расширению общего и страноведческого

кругозора учащихся, углубление знания учащихся о Великобритании;

Развивающая: Развитие мышление, слуховой контроль, зрительную память и

воображение; развитие умение воспринимать информацию на слух и

определять последовательность ключевых событий; Развитие навыков

монологического высказывания по теме.

Воспитательная: Воспитание интереса к стране изучаемого языка,

уважительного отношения к чужой культуре.

Ожидаемые результаты:

Оборудование:Press-release, текст о символах стран Великобритании, флаги,

видео о Великобритании, презентация учителя.

Ход урока

Teacher: Good morning, boys and girls!

Class: Good morning, teacher!

Teacher: Sit down, please. Today we have an unusual lesson. There a lot of guests

and I want you to be very active, emotional and confident.

Teacher: Do you know where we can find the information?

Class: We can find the information in the books, films, magazines, comics…

Teacher: Also you can find information in Press-release. Have you ever heard

about it? It is an informative message for news, for media world, where we can

find interesting social piece of news.

Press-release

Look at the blackboard. Here you can see a Press-release of Great Britain. But

there are for empty parts. Do you know what are they?

Class: They are four countries of GB. England, Scotland, Wales and Northern

Ireland.

Teacher: And today you will be four teams. England, Scotland, Wales and

Northern Ireland. You have a big sheet of paper and during our lesson you should

complete your projects and the card of presentation with symbols, different facts

of your country.

The first task will be the following. Look at the screen. Match the flags with its

descriptions. I’ll give you 2 minutes and then we will check , also you should

choose your flag and put it on your project.

Teacher: Now we will watch a video about countries of GB. You have sheets of

paper, after watching a video write down the capital, population and language of

your country.

Teacher: Who is that knocking at our door?

Gardener: Hello! I am a gardener from GB. You know that each country of GB

has its own emblem – a flower. I have a basket of different flowers. Choose the

emblem of your country and name it.

Teacher: Thank to our gardener and we continue working. Now I’ll give you texts

about countries of GB. We will read it together. Your task is to find symbols of

your country from the text and find them from envelopes and put them to your

projects. I’ll give you 4 minutes.

have a flowerbed. If you liked the lesson and everything was clear for you-choose
